Quick Start

1. Set Up an API Key

Open Transfo → Settings → API Keys and enter at least one key:

• OpenRouter — recommended for the widest model selection
• Google Gemini — free tier available at aistudio.google.com
• OpenAI — for GPT models at platform.openai.com

All keys are stored securely in your Mac's Keychain. You can configure multiple keys — Transfo automatically picks the best provider and falls back to others if one fails.

2. Copy Any Text

Select and copy text in any app — a paragraph, code snippet, SQL query, meeting notes, anything.

3. Press ⌥ Space (Option + Space)

The recipe panel appears instantly (<100ms). Recipes are sorted by relevance to your clipboard content.

4. Pick a Recipe (1–9 keys or click)

Press the number key for the recipe you want, or press Enter for the top suggestion.

5. Paste the Result

The transformed text is already on your clipboard. Just ⌘V to paste.
